The Wheel of Hekate is a visual representation of the tripartite goddess, consisting of a visual labyrinth with three different vortices that are connected at the center.
The symbol is an image of a labyrinth snake around a central spiral. The Labyrinth Serpent is representative of rebirth and renewal and is associated with the three faces of Hekate.
In general, the symbol represents wheels or whirlwinds, which are emanations of Divine thought. It shows the power of knowledge and life. The labyrinth also represents the journey and inner discoveries that a person makes during his life.
The wheel represents the path to knowledge directed towards the center of the wheel. It is seen as the flame of life and is a reminder that Hekate will help you walk this path.
Since the Wheel of Hekate is associated with the three feminine phases, each main sleeve represents a form - Mother, Maiden and Crown - which symbolize the three stages of a woman′s life.
Usually the wheels in the style of Hecate have a symbol in the center associated with the crossroads of three roads. However, other symbols, such as stars, may be depicted in the center.
