Norse God Thor

Thor in Norse mythology is the god of thunder, storms and fertility. He was one of the sons of the supreme god Odin, for the pagan Scandinavians, just as thunder was the embodiment of Thor, lightning was the embodiment of his hammer, Mjollnir, he served the gods as protection from giants and had many magical properties: he influenced fertility and death, could return to animal life. In addition to the hammer, Thor′s magical equipment included: iron gauntlets, without which it was impossible to hold the handle of a red-hot weapon, and a belt that doubles strength. His huge bronze chariot was dragged across the sky by two goats called Tangniostr ′gnashing teeth′ and Tangrisnir ′grinding teeth′. Thor′s goats served as a source of inexhaustible food, at night the thunderbolt killed and roasted them, leaving only the bones intact, and then brought the animals back to life by waving a hammer.
