In the work on this brooch, less beads and sequins were used than, for example, when creating a hummingbird. Because barn owls don′t need a lot of glitter, brightness and iridescence! Beads, sequins, beads are designed to perform only three functions: to frame a heart-shaped muzzle, to give softness to the appearance of a bird, creating the effect of fluffy plumage, and to convey the noble camouflage of its plumage.
