Wooden box with a secret ′The energy of life′
This wooden box with a secret compartment is made of natural materials and has a unique author′s design, suitable for both men and women (unisex). The design is based on beech wood, decorative elements are made of tree root veneer, the pattern of which never repeats.
The box has a rectangular shape and appropriate dimensions for storing money, bank cards and securities. Another use case is the maintenance of jewelry and designer costume jewelry in a dry place protected from light. The box consists of two compartments: main and secret. The main compartment takes up most of the item, has enough space to store financial savings and jewelry; divided into cells using wooden inserts designed for easy sorting and saving valuables. The bottom of the compartment is lined with soft material, which has a functional and decorative value. A flat secret compartment is located at the bottom of the box, its volume is enough to store documents and securities (passport, birth certificate, bank cards, etc.). The box is opened by turning the brass screws located around the perimeter of the object. Only two screws have a functional load, the rest are fixed tightly. With the help of brass plug locks, you can open the top or bottom of the box, or fix the item in the closed state. To fix the compartments, a system of loops is used. The object has a relief surface with geometric contours drawn with gold paint. The product is varnished to fix the color and prevent possible external damage.
The box has aesthetic and ideological and semantic value. Along the perimeter of the author′s object there are colored inserts (painted veneer), which have a symbolic meaning. As conceived by the designer, all sides of the box embody the idea of ​​energy balance in human life. Along the perimeter of the product there are colors that symbolize various types of energy and human actions: red, for example, means activity, assertiveness or aggression; green - growth and development, vitality; yellow - warmth and love, the dynamics of mental activity; blue - peace, stability. The veneer on the lid of the box has a natural color and embodies the primary white as pure energy, which can be directed in any direction (red, green, yellow, blue). The bottom of the box is dark, where the black color symbolizes energy that is not realized and, as a result, disappears. Any material values ​​leave an imprint on the energy force of a person, directing it to the implementation of various life tasks, because they themselves embody materialized energy that can be used.
Dense and hard beech wood is the main material of the box and belongs to valuable species. The rich texture, adorned with clearly visible growth rings and a system of pith rays, gives the wood a high aesthetic value. Beech has good wear resistance and belongs to fairly durable types of wood.
The features of the unique wood pattern do not allow you to create the same items, so each new box will be different from the previous one, regardless of the overall design. The color and light gradations of the surface of the product and the fabric substrate inside the main compartment will also differ. All stages of work are carried out manually by the master.
The product is made by a qualified craftsman in the field of furniture and interior design with more than ten years of experience (author′s design solutions, handicraft production of furniture and interior items, repair and restoration of damaged and antique items).
Production time is 2-3 months, depending on the workload of the master.
