Wood bead loom

This loom is used for making bracelets, traditional Ukrainian ribbon gerdan necklaces, collars.

Handmade wood bead loom make my husband from a strong pine board with a thickness of 2 cm0.8 inches.

The length of the loom - 40 cm15.8 inches, the width - 15 cm5.9 inches. The height of the metal hooks that hold the pin to the base, 5 cm1.9 inches; 850 grams.

The pine board is sanded and cleaned, painted with wood varnish. In order for the machine to be convenient to use, so that it does not get dirty, and is not afraid of water. Metal pins have a stainless coating. However, the machine should still be stored in a dry place.

Metal pins are clamped with nuts that are easily unscrewed and tightened. In this way, you can fix the metal pin and control how the threads are stretched. When weaving on the loom, it is important that the thread is taut and does not sag.

Notches on the metal pin allow you to fix the thread securely. The thread does not slip on the pin.
