Egyptian god Set

The god Set, also known as Set or Seth, is one of the ancient Egyptian deities. He is usually associated with the desert, storms, chaos, but also sometimes with protection and royalty. In ancient Egyptian mythology he is often represented as a god with the head of a donkey, hyena, and trumpet-tooth. Seth played an important role in the myths and religious practices of the ancient Egyptians, including the story of the struggle with the god Osiris. In the late Egyptian period, when Egyptian religion faced the influence of other cultures, the image of the god Seth was sometimes associated with negative aspects, including evil and chaos, although in ancient times his cult had positive aspects.
