Slavic god Rod

Rod is a Slavic god who is the deity of kin, birth, fertility and lineage. He plays an important role in Slavic mythology, being the patron of family values and marriage, as well as symbolizing the continuation of lineage and heritage. In Slavic mythology, Rod is often seen as the chief god and ancestor of all gods and humans. He is considered the creator of the world and the first of all deities. Rod is usually depicted as an old man with a long white beard and hair, in a wise and respectful appearance.
