Scandinavian god Vidar

Vidar is one of the aes in Scandinavian mythology, the son of Odin and the giantess Grid. He is known as the god of vengeance and silence, as well as one of the strongest gods. In the myths of Ragnarok, Vidar plays an important role in the battle against Fenrir, the giant wolf that kills Odin. According to legend, Vidar avenges his father′s death by killing Fenrir. He uses his mighty boot to tear open the wolf′s mouth or step on it and thus kill it.
