Zgard 1863

The central element of the cross has the shape of a woman′s body, a pre-Christian symbol of the goddess Mother Earth, in Slavic mythology the ancestor of all living things. Orthodoxy and paganism united in the arrogant crosses.
Decorated with an ancient authentic symbol Rose (Flower Thunderbolt).
Thunderbolt or Thunder Wheel - a pagan six-petalled symbol inscribed in a circle, an ancient amulet of the Slavs, a symbol of Perun. It neutralizes all evil and negative and helps to concentrate vital energy.
Hutsuls, boyks and Lemkos call it simply ′rose′, that is, a rose, a rosette.
