According to legend, the Sacred Stone Alatyr is a “living stone” that lies in Iria. The Tree of the Family (life) grows on it. All roads leave and converge in it. He personifies the power and immortality of the prolific creative power of life.
On Alatyr, the Living Fire of Svarog always burns, and the God of Justice Perun rests there, strikes sparks from it, kindles a thunderous flame and brews a miraculous drink - Living Water (for the planet it is rain), produces fire from the friction of his club. The living water of the rains resurrects nature and gives the earth harvests.
Alatyr is the Eye of the Sort, it is from him that the Light of the Sort of the Most High is born and shines, and the grace of God, which he gives to all that exists and carries.
The power of Alatyr is endless, like the Universe. All creeds, forces, essences, worlds are only a tiny fraction of it.
Alatyr is not only a mountain, or a stone - it is the sacred center of the World. It is triune, therefore it means the path of Rule between Reality and Navu, between the Dolny and the upper worlds. It is twofold - small and large, and light and heavy. He is one, for in him all the worlds are united. He is unknowable, like Rule. This is the original stone. The mediator between the worlds was also the book of the Vedas, which fell from the sky, and the magic bird Gamayun. Both the Book and the Bird are also Alatyr.
There are several versions about the location of Alatyr, and so far - many are looking for and cannot find the stone of knowledge and power. Not knowing at the same time that this stone is our desires and aspirations for the knowledge of the universe. And the power of this stone depends only on ourselves.
