Crocheted keychain with personalized embroidery. Plus a crochet pattern!

Winter holidays are the season of gifts, and for handicraftsmen, it is the richest period for individual orders.


Among other custom works, for a specific person - here is a keychain with an embroidered name on it. One of the main requirements for it was that he could be fearlessly squeezed in the hands. And, of course, as a thing that has to travel a lot and be constantly at work, it had to be strong enough.


As a result, we adapted the traditional heart shape so that the keychain fits comfortably in a woman′s hand. Thanks to a strong cotter pin made of stainless metal and a fiber disc, the crocheted keychain rotates freely around its axis. A metal ring with a carabiner is also connected to the cotter pin for a bunch of keys. Thus, the mechanical strength is sufficient.



The body of the heart is made of 100% natural Ukrainian yarn ′Vivchari′. This makes the keychain especially pleasant to the touch. The embroidery is made with wear-resistant acrylic thread; the inscription is contrasting and well readable. Accordingly, this keychain will transfer machine wash very well!



As a result, we have a wonderful, personalized handmade gift for a dear person. Let it serve for a long time and give a lot of pleasure!

Among other things, we are now developing and expanding a line of crocheted balls with letters, numbers, and pictures on them. Perhaps later we will transform some of them into keychains; let′s see…

For who is interested in the scheme, here it is:

Vivchari yarn Ethno-cotton 1200, double fold, crochet ~ 4 mm.

Metal O-splints (movable joints) 2.0 x 32 mm with a 10 mm disc and a washer for it. Well, or what will you hang upon.
In our schemes, we do not indicate exactly how to place increases and decreases, because each craftsman has his style.

It makes sense to twist the joint with a disc and a washer right away so that later you can simply place it from the inside of the canvas in the right place. When doing this, take into account the thickness of the textile and the fact that the head of the joint should be above its surface.

Two parts (′caps′):
On the first part, we leave the tail for sewing inside ~ 12” (30 cm).
